About me :
What to say? I'm in my early twenties, born in Montreal in October and now living in Quebec. I've recently obtained a Bachelor's in graphic design, which is now sitting on a shelf gathering dust, as such things are wont to do. Other than art, I love books, video games, sweets, animals... I could go on forever.
About my art :
I've been drawing with pencils for ages, but color is a fairly recent development. Discovering other artists online is what kick-started my art career, if you can call it that. If it weren't for many wonderful tutorials and helpful forums, I'd likely still be drawing stick people.
There usually aren't any stories behind my paintings. I tend to just draw pretty things, simply because I like pretty things. Rarely any hidden meanings or significance. Fantasy appeals to me because of what you can get away with. Purple trees, floppy-eared people with wings, whatever one's imagination can come up with. In a way, it can be even harder than drawing from life, because there are no actual models, yet it still has to be convincing.
If you haven't noticed by now, my writing tends to be a little pompous. Evidence of a misspent childhood, I expect.
